Insight: Huge numbers of students visit SF to attend the GNPD. As the host school, I wanted to leverage this influx and drive the acquisition of new prospects with an unconventional approach to the annual event. 

Concept: Rather than simply talk about how cool we are: let's show them.

Echoing contemporary art frameworks, we built a weekend of events surrounding the GNPD – including a roundtable panel on Art + Tech (showcasing the sophisticated rigor of our faculty dialogue), casual networking receptions, student-led tours, and more.

This weekend brought a record turnout, praise from visiting representatives, and subsequent data showed a marked increase in conversion (inquiry to apply) from previous years.

Join SFAI for a weekend of graduate admissions events leading up to the GNPD. Attend a technology-inspired artists’ roundtable with faculty on Friday, and tour the industrial-style graduate studios. Then, come back on Saturday to join the GNPD for individualized admissions advice from institutions nationwide, specializing in art, design, and architecture.
